Each of the three button performs a "quick search" for the three different rule types.
Current Rules: When selected, this option returns all regular rules which are presently in effect. If a current chapter of rules has a proposed rule filed on it, you will see a blue circle with a white exclamation mark next to the rule. If you hover over the icon, you will see a message indicating that there are changes proposed for the rule. If you then click on the icon, you will be able to view the proposed rule in a strike and underscore format.
In addition, if a current chapter of rules has an emergency rule filed on it, you will see a white cross with a red background next to the rule. Again, if you hover over the icon, you will see a message indicating there are emergency rules on file for the record. If you click the icon, you can then view the emergency rules.
Proposed Rules: When selected, this option returns those rules being consider by an agency for adoption. If the rules are open for public comment you will see the following red link next to the chapter. By clicking on this link you may provide public comment:

Emergency Rules: When selected, this option returns those temporary rules promulgated as per W.S. 16-3-103(b). Emergency rules are only valid for 120 days and may be refiled one time (for a total for 240 days).
